We Are So

Terms of service

Effective October 10, 2026 · We Are So · weare.so

We Are So is operated by Brandon Klein as an individual (“we” or “us”). These terms cover the weare.so website, private family workspace, companion features and optional connections. Questions can go to brandon.klein@gmail.com or Support. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it and contact us for help with your data. The current service is an invitation-only family travel pilot. The public preview contains fictional plans and does not connect accounts or book travel. Other families may request an invitation. A verified phone number or signup request does not grant access to any family workspace.

1. Your account and family

An adult organizer must manage family access. Minors may participate with a parent’s or guardian’s permission and supervision, subject to applicable age and consent requirements. Independent accounts are not offered to children under 13. A connected provider may impose additional age restrictions.

Use your own authorized account, keep sign-in methods secure, and tell us if access appears compromised. Connect only accounts and phone numbers you control or are authorized to use. Do not share access credentials. An organizer may manage the shared plan, but cannot give consent for another person’s private account connection or text enrollment. Review sharing choices before adding another person’s information. Family permissions do not give members authority to make purchases or commitments for each other.

2. Planning is different from booking

The service organizes research, conversations, photos and travel details. It is not an airline, hotel, travel agency, insurer or emergency service. A saved idea, imported confirmation, “confirmed” label, calendar entry or assistant answer does not issue a ticket, guarantee availability, create a supplier contract or prove that payment succeeded.

Check important dates, time zones, passengers, prices, cancellation deadlines and requirements with the original supplier. Suppliers control their reservations, refunds and service terms. Marking something cancelled in this app does not cancel it with a supplier. Contact the airline, hotel or agent directly to book, change or cancel travel. Keep access to original confirmations and essential documents outside the app. For an emergency, contact the appropriate local service directly.

3. Assistant suggestions and actions

Automated extraction and AI can misunderstand messages, omit details or produce inaccurate suggestions. Information may be outdated. Review consequential recommendations before relying on them. A browser visit suggests an interest, not a booking or a settled preference.

The app uses your available records and permitted memories to help you plan. You can edit or forget saved memories. Some simple app actions can be applied when you request them; changes requiring review stay proposed until authorized. Supplier messages in this release are private drafts for you to review and send yourself. The assistant does not automatically contact suppliers, purchase travel or change airline reservations.

4. Optional connected services

You choose whether to connect a provider and which available functions to enable. The provider’s permissions and terms also apply. A feature may remain unavailable while provider approval or account setup is pending. Connection settings and the Privacy Policy explain disconnect and removal choices.

Google, carriers and other providers can change or interrupt their services. Disconnecting does not necessarily delete copies already shared into a trip or events already created in your calendar. Use the relevant removal controls or contact support.

5. Optional SMS trip assistant

Text messaging is not active until Twilio registration and service activation are complete. When available, the We Are So trip assistant provides a phone-linking confirmation, requested planning replies, booking-related updates and reminders you have opted into. Message frequency varies with use. Message and data rates may apply.

Enrollment requires a separate, unchecked consent choice and proof that you control the phone through a requested verification code or the temporary linking code in Connections. Authentication codes do not enroll you in recurring trip messages. Consent is voluntary, is not bundled with accepting these terms, and is not a condition of purchase, account access or website use. Entering someone else’s number or being their family organizer does not enroll them. No marketing enrollment is implied.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Recurring trip texts stop and the trip-text link is removed. Phone sign-in remains available; a final opt-out acknowledgment may be sent. Reply HELP for assistance, visit Support, or email brandon.klein@gmail.com. To resume, complete the current consent and linking process. Tell us if your number changes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Texts are not an emergency or guaranteed flight-alert channel. Twilio and delivery providers process messaging data to operate the service. Consent records support your choices. SMS opt-in information is not sold or shared for another party’s marketing. See the Privacy Policy and SMS terms.

6. Your content and privacy

You keep ownership of the content you provide. Give us only information you have permission to use and share, including photographs and other people’s travel details. You grant a limited, nonexclusive permission to store, process, resize, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate the features you use and honor your sharing choices. Service providers may process it for those purposes. This is not permission to publish private trips for advertising or train a general-purpose model on your content.

That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for retained copies described in the Privacy Policy, legal obligations, and material you previously shared that remains separately in a trip. Removing a source connection or memory does not erase earlier conversations or others’ permitted copies. Security controls reduce risk; no service can guarantee that an account or stored information will never be compromised.

7. Fair use and service ownership

Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, defraud, send unwanted messages, infringe rights, distribute harmful code, bypass access controls or obtain another person’s private information. Do not overload the service or evade usage limits. Report suspected misuse to support. We may remove unlawful content or restrict access to protect users and the service.

The app’s software, branding and supplied materials belong to us or their respective owners. You may use the service for its intended family-planning purpose, subject to these terms. This does not transfer ownership of our materials or third-party content. Your original content remains yours.

8. Costs, availability and ending access

No app subscription charge is established by these terms. If paid plans are introduced, prices, renewal and cancellation terms will be presented before you agree. Supplier costs and your own internet or messaging charges remain separate.

The pilot may change, pause or end. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or compatibility with every provider. You can stop using it, disconnect accounts and request removal through support. We may suspend access for misuse, security concerns or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain a restriction and give reasonable notice of a planned shutdown and an opportunity to retain essential information. Urgent protective action may occur first.

9. Responsibility and your rights

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. Where law permits, we are not responsible for a supplier’s independent failure or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. We do not guarantee perfect AI output, travel information or uninterrupted delivery. These limits do not excuse our responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or injury where that limitation is unlawful. There is no mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver in these terms. Contact support to raise a concern; doing so does not prevent you from exercising legal rights.

10. Updates and contact

We will post revised terms with a new effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. Additional consent will be requested when required, including for new account permissions or messaging purposes. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent lawful.
