Contact the operator

We Are So is operated by Brandon Klein as an individual. Email brandon.klein@gmail.com for app support, privacy questions or account and data removal requests.

The app is opening to invited families. The public preview uses fictional people and plans. It does not create an account or connect to Google. Other families can join the availability email list. A request never grants access to a trip.

Help with Google connections

Gmail import is optional. In the private app, an organizer can open Connections to connect or reconnect Gmail, check a missing flight email, and review extracted details. Google grants read-only access across the connected mailbox; the app filters for likely travel confirmations. This import connection cannot send, delete or change email. Document requests has a separate optional Gmail draft connection. Google’s compose permission includes sending, but We Are So creates drafts for you to review and has no email-send action. Without that extra connection, you can download a reply file or selected form fields. A downloaded reply file is not automatically added to Gmail.

Google Photos Picker is a separate optional permission. Open Photos to choose specific images, return to the app, and review the copies before sharing. The app does not scan your library in the background. Google may limit access while its review is pending. Device photo upload and manual confirmation entry are separate options.

Google Calendar is a separate optional connection in Connections. Choose an owned calendar, review the proposed confirmed events, then enable sync. Personal edits to managed Google event times or titles pause that event for review. Calendar disconnect stops sync and leaves existing Google events. Find the Chrome research extension in Connections. Open the trip menu, then Preferences & decisions, to review private travel conversations or save, edit and forget memories. The optional travel-conversation switch enables narrow matching and transient processing of relevant latest replies; reduced source facts remain private until you choose to share them. Turning the switch off removes those private matches. The Trip feed brings your permitted next steps together, while Add and Ask keep sharing and questions close by.

Instagram

Instagram is marked Coming soon in Add. It is not connected and does not import posts, direct messages or saved items. You can still upload your own photos and attach a post link.

Disconnect or remove data

In Connections, choose Disconnect Gmail to stop imports and remove the app’s stored credentials, private Gmail imports and their parse cache. The app also attempts to revoke its Google access. You can check or remove the permission in your Google Account connections. A previously shared booking stays in the family trip until it is removed separately.

In Photos, End photo access closes the current selection. This does not revoke the shared Google permission used by Gmail. Remove a shared photo in the app to delete that copy; the original stays in your phone or Google Photos.

For account removal or help deleting shared information, email the support address above. Tell us which account you use and which data you want removed. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment card details or full travel documents. We may need to verify account ownership first.

Deleted database data can remain in Cloudflare recovery history for up to 30 days. See the privacy policy for retention, processing and the limits of disconnecting.

Travel changes and urgent help

This app organizes ideas and reviewed travel details. It does not issue tickets, change reservations or provide emergency assistance. Contact your airline, travel provider or local emergency service directly when needed.
